Mission Statement

The Wartburg Foundation is the fund raising arm of The Wartburg Adult Care Community (WACC), a Lutheran Social Ministry serving people of all faiths since 1866. The Foundation’s mission is to steward The Wartburg Endowment Funds; generate income through testamentary gifts, annual fund solicitations, and grant requests; and award funds to WACC programs, other Lutheran ministries, or to any other deserving charity that strives to help older adults live with dignity.

The Wartburg Foundation solicits and receives all donations and planned gifts for the benefit of the greater Wartburg.
