On Sunday, November 11, 2007, clergy, Board members, staff, residents and guests gathered for the Service of Installation of The Wartburg’s new Chaplain and Pastor of the United Lutheran Church, The Rev. Carol E. A. Fryer. Pictured above is Rev. Amandus J. Derr, a current Board member of The Wartburg Adult Care Community, and Rev. Carole E. A. Fryer during the service.
Spiritual care and nurture has always been central to the mission of The Wartburg. The Wartburg chaplain and the spiritual care program touch the lives of residents, their families and the staff. Charitable contributions support the spiritual care program.

The Wartburg advocates for those who cannot speak for themselves, to speak for the forgotten, the infirmed and the elderly who, after all, are the resevoirs of our rich heritage. We have a special purpose at The Wartburg, to care for those who have cared for us. With your support we will always strive to do the highest good for those entrusted to our care.
